  • JJHeitor presented its collection FW20/21 at MICAM

Don't reinvent the wheel; refresh it with a pick-and-mix from past eras to inform modern designs that are built to last

In times of uncertainty, the past can have a powerful allure.
With the rise of digital culture, legacy styles have become firmly incorporated into the fashion landscape, offering comfort in a stream of novelty, but by 2021, the heritage itself will be ready for an update.
Classic, formal and casual styles will be re-invented with a streetwear twist or punk sensibility, looking for historical materials and details that are reworked alongside modern fabrics and silhouettes. It is about respecting the past without replicating it.

At JJHeitor, a family company over 55 years old, specialized in quality women footwear. located in Portugal, Santa Maria da Feira, a region with a strong cluster in the footwear industry, a rigorous selection of raw materials starts the production process. Skins, soles and linings of the best national and international origin are part of a procedure that characterizes a way of being in the market.

Incorporated technology, at all stages of the process, enables relevant levels of productivity and quality gains. A strong component of manuality is also a deciding factor in the added value of the final product.
The integration of design in our service added value to the commercial proposal as a differentiating element of great quality.
A fundamental milestone in the company progress was the launch of our own brand – JJ Heitor Shoes in 2013. This project combines both an innovative design and a high quality manufacture.

  • JJHeitor Shoes presented, from 15 to 18 of September, its SS 2020 collection, at MICAM.

JJHeitor Shoes SS 2020 collection, under the motto AU NATURALE, is based on a concept which highlights the communion with the nature.

Materials such as cotton canvas mixed with leathers gain great relevance, creating timeless and comfortable looks for everyday life.

We were inspired by the summer vacation ambiance with tan toned colors, glamour by the pool and a peaceful lifestyle.

The color palette proposes either vibrant or fresh options in which the metallic gold energizes the deep tones and the silver creates a clean appearance.

Handmade finishes give the design an unique quality.

The careful selection of materials reflects a real concern with the environment and the sustainability.
